Like You, Like Me

and in the middle of my chaos, there was you.
Heart, void as a sea shell like,
Like love letters in the sand.
Your voice in the head like,
Like the sea tells tales to the soul.
Losing you like,
Like you were sand and pebbles,
Slipping away each time,
My heart wouldn't settle.
I can remove you like,
Like sand from the shoes but,
Memories cannot leave the bones just like,
Like the salt in the sea.
We, so afar like,
Like the horizon,
Yet so close like,
Like the sunshine and the ocean.
Drowning with anticipation like,
Like waves, bringing you back and forth,
back and forth,
Wondering, if like you, like me,
One day,
My waves will drown you.
